April 6th - Only Mono hosted by Cymru Mono at St. Theodore's Church Hall. This is the biggest monochrome battle in the UK - if not the World. Afan Nedd are taking part so come along and support your club.
April 10th - Carmarthen Cameras model shoot with Krishen Nagar. Members bring cameras.
April 12th - A day out with a guided tour around Bitton Railway Station based in Bristol - [Details].
April 16th - Committee Meeting.
April 17th - Get Out and Shoot with Nicky Rhodes, Newquay CC.
April 19th - A day out. Meet at Swansea Recreation ground to photograph graffiti and then afterwards visit Clyne Gardens. Lunch at the Woodman. Jo Ashburner is the leader. There may be a model or two to pose for you.
April 24th - Competition No 7 with Judge Bryan Pilot, Cwmbran CC.

May 2024
May 1st - Show and Tell. Members show and talk about their images with 5 or 10 each depending on how many take part.
May 3rd - A day out with a street shoot in Pontypridd at Dave M Williams' suggestion. Meet at 10am. This will be the club's third visit here.
May 4th - 6th Ragged Victorians, Blaenavon Heritage Centre, Bob Barkers suggestion.

May 4th - WPF Distinctions Workshop to be held at 10.am in the morning at the same venue as the WPF Salon opening. If you would like to come along, please contact Paul James distinctions@thewpf.co.uk for further information.
May 4th - WPF Salon opening at Cynon Valley Museum, Aberdare Open from 2pm to 3.30pm. The club has a visit lined up for 24th May.
May 8th - The Unnatural Landscape with club member Wayne John. This is a print presentation.
May 10th-12th The Valleys Hard Enduro FIM WORLD ROUND at Glynneath and the Swansea Valley. Bob Barker's suggestion Details can be found [here].
May 10th - A day out in the Brecon Beacons. Meet at the Brecon Beacons Visitor Centre at 10.am, then take a short walk to an old graveyard - this is on private land and the farmer is expecting us. Cafe at centre for lunch.
May 15th - Print and PDI Of The Year - Judge Peter Weaver, Hanham/Kingswood CC. Peter replaces Tony Byram who hopefully will judge this competition in 2025.
May 17th - A day out at Aberglasney Gardens - Meet at 10.am.
May 22nd - A talk on Canada with John Tilsley, ARPS,DPAGB, APAGB & Di Tilsley, CPAGB, APAGB

May 24th - A day out visiting the Welsh Salon of Photography at Cynon Valley Museum, Aberdare Meet at 10am.
May 29th - Our AGM. If you want to vote for motions that are put forward, then best to turn up. No weekly subs are taken.
May 31st - A day out with a street shoot in Treorchy. Meet at 10 am.
June 2024
June 5th - An evening out at Aberafan Beach - meet at the Whale for 7pm.
June 7th - A day out photographing model helicopters at Garn Goch Common with club member Mark Kelly. Meet at 10.am. Martin Smith's suggestion. Mark is the chairman of the model group. Location details - [here].
June 8th/9th - A day out at The Neath Steam and Vintage Show to be held at Llwynfelish Farm, Crynant, Neath. Paul Branchflower's suggestion.
June 12th - We are invited to take part in the Sosban Print Battle to be held at Llanelli CC.
June 14th - A day out at Singleton Park. Meet in the Botanical Gardens. The gardens open at 10.am. Park wherever you like - Eversley Rd and side streets have on road parking.
June 19th - An evening out at Dunraven Bay - meet from 7pm onwards.
June 22nd/23rd - The Pendine Sands Hot Rod Races. Bob Barker's suggestion.
June 26th - An evening out at Mumbles. Meet at 7pm outside Verdis.
June 28th - A table-top shoot at the TwoCann Cafe, St Pauls in Port Talbot. Martin Smith suggestion and leader. Please don't bring or use flash guns at this shoot - window/daylight only. First nine to reply to Martin's email are booked in. There may be more dates booked later on if there's a lot on the reserve list.
June 29th/30th - The Wales Balloon Festival at the Carmarthen Showground. Sam Cheng's suggestion.

July 5th - A day out to Tretower Court and Castle. Meet at 10.am for a guided tour This is our first visit here.
July 19th - A day out at Cwmyoy and Partrishow churches. Bring snacks. Meet at 10.am at Cwmyoy. Allan Pick's Suggestion. This is our first visit here.

September 4th - Days Out Days In with Gareth Martin, AWPF, CPAGB. Digital talk with 20 prints to be viewed at half time.
September 6th - A day out with a visit to the PAGB Masters of Print exhibition at Bedwellty House, Tredegar. Meet at 10.am [Details]
September 11th - Montana in Monochrome Prints - with Trevor James. Hand-in for Competition 1 which will be judged cold.
September 18th - Landscape Photography - My Passion - My Therapy with Nigel Thomas. Nigel is a past member of the club.
September 25th - Competition No 1 - Judge Martyn Pinches from Cardiff.
September 27th - Show and Tell at Morriston, 7pm start. Members let Gareth know if you want to take part.
September 28th/29th - Country and Western Festival at Brean Sands. Dave M Williams suggestion.
October 2024
October 2nd - An evening with Carl Ryan from Swansea. Carl is a professional extreme sports and fashion photographer, and has had work published in the US and many magazines including Vogue - [Carl on Facebook]. Hand-in for Competition 2.
October 9th - My Family Album with Walter Waygood.
October 11th - A day out at the Forest of Dean including the medieval Staunton Church and
Waterloo Screens lake. Bob Barker's suggestion. Meet at 10.am. Meeting place will be announced nearer the date.
October 16th - The National Parks Of North America - Glyn Freeman.
October 23rd - Lighting demo with Kevin Walters, Morriston CC.
October 30th - Competition No 2. Judge is Jane Kerr, Builth Wells CC.
November 2024
November 6th - 12-Way Print Battle, Judge Gary Shinner, Baglan Bay PS. Hand in Competition No 3.
November 1st/2nd - A day out with a street shoot in Llanelli followed by a visit to see the Llanelli CC Exhibition. Meet in the exhibition at 10am in St. Elli's Shopping Centre. Park wherever you like, but a Llanelli member has suggested we park at the multi-storey car park Murray Street.
November 13th - A print evening with David Bathard FRPS and Tony Cooper of Crown Mono. David makes his second visit to the club. Hand-In for the Simon Jones Memorial Mono PDI Competition.
November 20th - Gerald Henry takes us on a photographic trip around Canada.
November 21st - Show and Tell at Cardiff CC. Members are invited to take part and show their work.
November 23rd - Stanley Schell hosted by Aberdare CC - Venue Cynon Linc. Starts 1pm.
November 27th - Competition No 3 with judge Ken Jacobs of Abergavenny CC.
January 2025
January 1st - Happy New Years Day. No meeting.
January 8th - Oh No! - Not another Practical Evening with Martin Smith. Hand -In for Competition No 4.
January 15th - A tour of New Zealand with Rob Evans.
January 22nd - ‘Out In All Weathers - Event Photography’ with Helen Jones and Stephen Jones of Dorchester CC. Helen is currently the WCPF President.
