May 2nd - A day out in Rhayader with a street shoot followed by an afternoon river stroll. Meet at 10.am. Bob Barker's suggestion.
May 3rd - The opening of the Welsh Salon at The Cynon Museum, Aberdare.
May 6th - Committee Meeting.
May 7th - Members Show and Tell - Club members show their work.
May 9th - A day out at Carreg Cennen Castle - meet at 10.am. Dawn Spence Kelly's suggestion. Location.
May 10th/11th - The Ragged Victorians at the Victorian Weekend at Blaenavon.
May 12th - Nature Group visit to The Magor Marshes.
May 14th - Nature Snaps with Ralph Snook, ARPS, DPAGB, EFIAP/S and Bristol PS, who is originally from Port Talbot.
May 16th - Day out at Soar y mynydd the remotest chapel in Wales. This will be our 2nd visit there meet from 10.am onwards. https://www.nationalchurchestrust.org/church/soar-y-mynydd-tregaron There are two pubs in the area, but bring a snack just in case. There's a farmhouse to look at, and if we have time, another church. Please note that this is a change to the programme.

May 19th - Nature Group visit to The National Botanic Garden Of Wales.
May 21st - Inside My Head - Creative Composites - David Norton AWPF, CPAGB, Rhondda CC.
May 23rd - A day out to Port Eynon. Those members who want to visit Culver Hole, please note that low tide is around 9.30 am but we will check nearer the date. Meet at 9.am or later for those members not going to the hole. There are remains of a salt house on the right side of the bay to photograph, and the village and the Ship Inn for refreshments. We haven't been here since 2018/19.
May 28th - Annual General Meeting. No subs taken. Hand in for PDI and Print Of The Year - you pick your favourite two prints and or pdi that have been in the seven competitions.
May 30th - A day out at Llancarfan Church and Village with a guided talk on the interior of the church. The talk starts at 12.noon inside the church with Sam Smith followed by lunch at 1pm in the Red Lion. We usually meet at 10.am but the arrival time is up to you.
June 2025
June 2nd - Nature Group visit to the Oxwich National Nature Reserve.
June 3rd - An evening out at Penwyllt. Meeting time is 7pm onwards, but some members may arrive earlier. It will be a chance to hopefully see a sunset from here as we have been there for sunrise.
June 6th - A day out in Cardigan. Meet at 10am. Bob Barker's suggestion.
June 7th - The Barrian Cup at Barry CC starts at 2pm.
June 10th - An evening at Parc Slip Nature Reserve - meet at 7.pm
June 13th - A day out at Llangorse Lake and Llangasty Church followed by lunch in the White Hart Inn, Talybont on Usk. Meet before sunrise or at 10.am at the lake.
June 19th - 21st - The Wales and West Photography show at the Celtic Manor.
June 20th - A day out at Dinefwr Castle and Newton House - meet at 10.am. Dawn Spence Kelly's suggestion.
June 28th - The Ragged Victorians at The Blaenavon Heritage Day.
July 2025
July 4th - A day out at St. Illtyd's Church with a tour booked. Dawn Spence Kelly's suggestion. Meet at the church for 10am.
July 11th - A day out at Manorbier - meet at 10.am. This is Dawn Spence Kelly's suggestion.
July 18th - TBA.
July 25th - A day out in Llandeilo to see the Dinefwr PS Exhibition and have a street shoot.
August 2025
August 3rd - September 15th - PAGB Masters of Print Exhibition at Bedwellty House Tredegar.
August 5th & 7th - Glamorgan Cricket, One day tests at Neath Cricket ground. 11.am start.
August 8th - A day out in Llandrindod Wells. The Welsh Bowls Championships are on at Rock Park, so plenty of people images and the town for a street shoot.
August 11th/12th - The Brecon Jazz Festival.
August 15th - A day out at Penwyllt. Meet at 9.30 or earlier. Lunch at the Ancient Briton at 1pm.
August 18th - Committee Meeting.
September 2025
September 3rd - Print and PDI Of The Year with judge Ian Ledgard, EFIAP/p, GMPSA/b, GPU-Cr5, AWPF, BPE1 and Cymru Mono. Also the presentation of the league trophies. Hand-In for Competition 1.
September 5th - A day out to Tenby and St Catherine's Island and Fort if it's open. Suggested by Dawn Spence Kelly.
September 10th - An Infrared evening with our member Wayne John.
September 12th - A day out at Pont Melin Fach and a walk to Sgwd Ddwli Isaf waterfall. This walk will be dependent on whether the road is open to it. Dawn Spence Kelly's suggestion.
September 13th - The WPF Convention takes place in St Theodore's Church Hall. I'm organising this and hopefully there will be a good turn out from the club. More info in due course.
September 17th - An evening with Mathew Browne who is a professional photographer from Carmarthenshire.
19th September - A day out at Chepstow Castle - Dawn Spence Kelly Suggestion. Meet at the castle car park for 10.am.
September 21st - A day out at the Tenby Ironman Event.
September 24th - Competition No 1 with judge Alan Packham of Bargoed CC.
September 26th - A day out Cyfartha Castle. This is Dawn Spence Kelly suggestion. Meet at 10.am Cafe on site.
October 2025
October 1st - Seeing The Light with Riccardo Beghini from Corntown in the Vale Of Glamorgan. Hand-In for Competition 2.
October 8th - Variety Is The Spice Of Life with Susan Ashford, ARPS, CPAGB, EFIAP, AWPF.
October 10th - TBA.
October 15th - A model shoot with Martyn Pinches. Members bring your camera gear, and a model will be provided.
October 22nd - Members Show And Tell, with both prints and DPI.
October 24th - A day out with a drive around the Towy Valley with leader Gareth Martin. We will take in Paxtons Tower, Dryslwyn Castle, The Dryslwyn old railway station, a row of well photographed trees, and maybe a tucked away church or two. Meet at Paxtons Tower for 9.am Bring a packed lunch.
October 29th - Competition No 2 with Judge Peter Young, Cwmbran and Cymru Mono. Hand-In for Competition 3.
October 31st - Happy Halloween. We will take a spooky walk to the ruins of St Peter's Chapel in the Bridgend Valley. This is my idea, and Neil Holman has agreed to lead it. In total this is a three mile walk. Parking info will come out nearer the time. Meet at 9.45.
November 2025
November 5th - Guy Fawkes Night - TBA.
November 7th - A day out at Parrog, Newport, Pembs. Garry Baker's suggestion - [Details].
November 12th - A evening with Ian Ledgard. Hand-In for the Simon Jones Trophy. Members are encouraged to enter 2 PDI on the theme of Monochrome. Please note that file sizes are the same as for our monthly competitions.
November 14th - A day out at Llandilo Tal y Bont Graveyard. This will be our third visit here.This is approx a 2 mile walk in total, maybe a bit less and flat. Wayne John is our leader. Meet at 10.am. Directions will come out nearer the date. [Tinkinswood] & [St. Lythans].
November 16th - The AWPF Distinctions day at Talbot Green Community Centre.
November 19th - America My Views with Paul Branchflower.
November 21st - A day out with a tour through the Vale of Glamorgan. Led by Gareth Martin, This is Dawn Spence Kelly's suggestion to go to Tinkinswood burial chamber and for good measure we will take in these other places St Lythans burial chambers in addition to a few churches - [Details].
November 26th - Competition No 3 with Judge Andy Leslie.
November 28th - A day out at a stables in Rhos. This shoot is limited to eight members and a reserve list has started. Meet at 10.am.
December 2025
December 3rd - Our Annual Eight-Way Print Battle with judge Martyn Pinches. Members to bring in food for a buffet.
December 6th/7th - The Ragged Victorians Victorian Christmas at SS Great Britain, Bristol.
December 10th - The Simon Jones Monochrome Trophy with Judge Trevor James, ARPS, AWPF and Gwynfa CC.
December 12th - A day out with a drive/stop tour starting at Penclawdd and taking in a few chapels/churches travelling along Crofty Marsh Rd. Pub lunch at The Welcome Llanrhidian. Meet at 10.am at Penclawdd.

December 17th - Susan Martin's photographic quiz in the first half. In the second half we will make the presentations to the quiz winners, Bob Barker's Nature Competition winner, Friday Challenge winners, and a series of images will be projected. The Xmas raffle will also be drawn. Myself and Susan will provide refreshments i.e nibbles.
December 24th - No Meeting.
December 31st - No Meeting.

January 14th - Still Life/Tabletop evening with Dennis Russ,LRPS AWPF AFIAP CPAGB BPE 1*. Bring your cameras and something to photograph.
January 21st - Gower In Monochrome with Dave Jones of Cymru Mono and Abertawe CC.
January 28th - Competition No4 with Judge Gary Shinner.
February 4th - An evening with Garry Baker. Hand in for Competition No 5.
February 11th - A Bit Of This And A Bit Of That.
February 18th - Gareth celebrates his birthday, by showing eighty of his favourite mono prints.
March 8th - The WPF AGM will be held at the Talbot Green Community Centre at 2.30pm.
